Vladimir of Smart Tech Appliance Repair is fantastic. He is honest, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. Our refrigerator/freezer is working properly again. He diagnosed a small Freon leak, refilled the Freon, and explained to us and provided us with the methodology to identify the source and severity of the leak so that diagnose the needed repair at some as yet unknown future date.

He did not try to bully us into  unnecessary expensive repairs and he listened to us carefully and answered each question thoughtfully.

It is a marvel these days to meet an honest and competent repair technician. Vladimir is exactly that.

Vladimir also followed up the next day via text messaging with good suggestions and advice as to what to look for going forward so we can get to the root of the Freon leak problem.

Vlad did an excellent job regarding our commercial gas oven in Northridge. He was professional,arrived on time,quickly diagnosed the problem and explained everything clearly before starting the repair. The oven is now working perfectly,and the repair was completed the same day. It’s not easy to find someone experienced with commercial kitchen equipment,but Vlad clearly knows what he is doing. Our AGA refrigerator stopped working and Vlad from Smart Tech was quickly able to diagnose the problem, order new parts, and make the repair.  He was incredibly capable and professional. I called Smart Tech Appliance Repair because ChatGPT talked me into changing the drain pump in my washing machine myself, lol.
I was able to take the machine apart, change the pump, and put the machine back together all except the last upper front panel. It just wasn’t going back into place for me. After an hour of trying I decided to call a professional for help. The first guy I called quoted me $100 to come out.  I thought that was high because I had a feeling it was something simple and would probably take 15 min. Also he couldn’t come until the next day.  So I called a 2nd place (Smart Tech) and told him what I had done. He was nice on the phone and really listened to me. He asked me to text him a photo and based off the photo gave me a couple tips to try. After I still couldn’t get it he offered to come by in 10-15 minutes. He let me watch him fix the issue and it did only take him a few minutes. But what I really appreciated was that he didn’t make me feel stupid. In fact, he told me he was impressed with the work I had done, haha!
He asked for only $40!
I have his number programmed in my phone now and will use him for all of my future appliance repairs.
